No Coast vs BrandMuscle: rent or own

BrandMuscle is becoming Ansira.

The acquisition closed in July 2024 and the platforms are being unified under one brand. If your program runs on BrandMuscle, a replatforming is on your calendar whether you scheduled it or not.

Them

02 / The moment

If you're migrating anyway

Platform unification means client upgrades. Absorbing a migration you didn't choose is the natural moment to compare where you land: the successor license, another license, or software you own. A parallel build runs while your current contract does, and your renewal date becomes your launch date.

03 / Questions

Asked by BrandMuscle customers.

Is No Coast a BrandMuscle alternative?

Yes, of a different kind. Instead of licensing the successor platform, you commission your own: one build fee, full IP assignment, optional hosting, and the migration happens once.

What happens to BrandMuscle contracts?

Existing programs continue under the combined company. Ask your CSM, in writing, how assignment, renewal terms and the unified-platform migration apply to your contract specifically.

What should we do before our renewal?

Test a full data export, inventory your customizations, get the migration timeline in writing, and price the alternatives while you have leverage.

What is BrandMuscle?

BrandMuscle is a through-channel marketing platform known for local media execution and co-op fund management, used heavily by insurance, beverage and building products brands. Ansira acquired it on July 2, 2024, and the platforms are being unified, so BrandMuscle's product future is the combined Ansira platform.

Who owns BrandMuscle?

Ansira has owned BrandMuscle since July 2, 2024, when it acquired BrandMuscle and SproutLoud on the same day. Ansira itself is owned by Truelink Capital, a Los Angeles private equity firm. BrandMuscle customers are being consolidated onto the unified Ansira platform announced in September 2024.

No Coast is not affiliated with or endorsed by Ansira, BrandMuscle or SproutLoud. This comparison reflects public information as of August 2026. Corrections welcome at hello@nocoast.ai. See also: No Coast vs Ansira and all alternatives, honestly compared.
