No Coast is a product of Octopolis, built in Kansas City. This policy covers nocoast.ai. It says what we collect, why, who else sees it and how to get it removed. Short version: we collect what you send us and basic analytics, we do not sell it, and you can have it deleted by asking.

What we collect

What you send us

You can use this entire site without giving us anything. If you choose to contact us, we receive what you type:

• Walkthrough requests: your name, work email, company, current platform, renewal month and any notes you add.
• Rent calculator report requests: your email address, and the inputs you entered so the report matches what you saw.
• Field Notes subscriptions: your email address.
• Email to us: whatever you write, plus your address and anything your mail provider attaches.

What gets collected automatically

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are useful. It sets cookies and records the pages you view, roughly where you are based on your IP address, what referred you, and your device and browser type. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. Analytics loads after the page renders, so it never delays what you came to read.

What we do not collect

There are no accounts on this site and no payments. We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels, we do not buy data about you from brokers, and we do not ask for sensitive categories of personal information. We do not knowingly collect anything from children.

Why we use it

• To reply to you and schedule the thing you asked for.
• To send the calculator report or the Field Notes email you requested.
• To understand which pages do their job, so we can improve the ones that do not.
• To keep the site available and to investigate abuse.

We do not use what you send us to build a profile, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a walkthrough. Those are separate choices, and you make each one.

Cookies and how to say no

The only cookies this site sets are Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*). Nothing on this site requires cookies to work, so you can block them and lose nothing.

• Block or clear cookies in your browser settings.
• Install Google's official opt-out browser add-on, which turns off Google Analytics everywhere.
• Turn on Global Privacy Control in a browser that supports it. We treat it as an opt-out signal.

Who else sees it

Only the services we need to run the site and answer you. Each one gets the minimum it needs to do its job:

• Our hosting provider, which serves these pages and keeps standard server logs.
• Google, for analytics, as described above.
• Our email and scheduling tools, so we can reply to you and send what you asked for.
• Anyone we are legally required to give it to, which has not happened and which we would resist if it were overbroad.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is no scenario in which your renewal date ends up with a data broker.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries: for as long as the conversation is live, and for a reasonable period after in case you come back. Ask and we delete them sooner.
• Subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Analytics:on Google's retention schedule for our property, after which the event data is deleted automatically.

Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Write to hello@nocoast.ai and we will confirm within one business day and act within thirty days. We will not make you create an account to exercise a right, and we will not treat you differently for using one.

If you are in California, that includes the rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of sale or sharing under the CCPA as amended. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the request line is the same address above.

This site is aimed at brands in the United States, and we do not target visitors in the EU or UK. If you are there and you contact us anyway, we handle your information on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in replying to you, and you keep your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. We keep what you send us in access-controlled tools and give it to the smallest number of people who need it, which on a team this size is a very small number. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we update the date at the top. If a change materially affects what we do with information we already hold, we will say so here rather than quietly reissue the page.
